Montana County Fire Warden's Association

Welcome to MCFWA!

The Montana County Fire Warden's Association's primary mission is supporting wildfire suppression at the local government level in Montana.  We strive to work collaboratively with County Fire Warden's and Fire Chiefs to represent local government with our state and federal partners.

 Supporting Montana's wildfire system.

Become a supporter of MCFWA!

We offer two ways to become part of the discussion and contribute.

Membership

Regular membership in the Association offers voting rights, the ability to represent the association on committees or hold a leadership role, as well as providing the most support for our mission.

Subscription

The Association believes that a critical function is to distribute key wildland firefighting information to our membership.  However, this same information is valuable to everyone engaged in wildland firefighting.  With the variety of sources where information is generated and distributed, it's distribution through the wildland fire community is often inconsistent. To help with this, MCFWA has created a subscription option.  You don't get a say, but you get all the information.  We ask for a voluntary $10 annual subscription fee to offset our cost of this system.  Our priority is to ensure information is distributed, so if  you can't pay the subscription fee, you will still get the information.
